YOU KNOW ? |
On August 27, 2011, Iñigo
Martínez made his first-team - and La Liga
- debut with Real Sociedad, playing the full 90 minutes
in a 2-1 away win against Sporting de Gijón.
On October 2, 2011, he scored his first league goal,
netting from inside his own half in the derby against
Athletic Bilbao.
In 2012 he was picked for the Spanish 2012 Summer
Olympics squad. But in the first game against Japan,
he was sent off for bringing down Kensuke Nagai.
